Privacy policy

Enuntio is designed to process as little data as possible: no account, no ads, no tracking. This page explains exactly what is processed, where, and why.

Who is responsible?

Data kept on your iPhone

The following stays on your device, in the app's private storage. We have no access to it:

• your audio recordings, their transcripts and your analysis reports;
• your practice profile (goal, difficulties, pace, optional first name) and preferences;
• your progress: streaks, badges, level, guided programs.

You choose how long audio files are kept (never, 7 days, 30 days or always) in Profile › Your data. You can delete one analysis or all your data at any time there. Uninstalling the app also deletes this data.

Speech recognition (Apple)

To transcribe your talks, Enuntio uses Apple's speech recognition. When the selected language allows it, it runs entirely on your iPhone. Otherwise, audio may be sent to Apple to be transcribed, under Apple's privacy policy. The app shows which case applies, in Profile › Your data.

AI coach (optional)

The AI coach rephrases your tips to make them more personal. It is off by default and only works if you turn it on yourself. It is reserved for subscribers, and included in the free analyses. When it is on, each analysis sends:

• the transcript of your talk, the measurements computed by the app and its tips, never the audio;
• a random app-specific identifier (not linked to your identity), to count free analyses;
• if you subscribe, the subscription proof signed by Apple, to verify your access.

This data goes through our server, hosted by Cloudflare, which forwards it to Anthropic (Claude AI model) to generate the rephrasing. Our server does not keep the text of your talks. It only keeps the number of free analyses associated with the random identifier, plus technical logs without content, kept for a few days. Anthropic processes this data under its terms and privacy policy. Under its commercial terms, Anthropic does not use data sent through its API to train its models, and keeps it for a limited period.

You can turn the coach off at any time: the analysis then stays entirely local.

Subscriptions

Purchases are handled by Apple. We never receive your payment details. The app receives confirmation of your subscription from Apple to unlock Premium.

What we don't do

• No ads, no ad tracking, no selling of data.
• No public sharing of your recordings.
• No account, no collection of your name, email or location.

Legal bases and transfers

Local processing and the app's service rely on providing the service you use. The AI coach relies on your consent, which you withdraw by turning it off. Cloudflare and Anthropic may process data outside the European Union, in particular in the United States, with the safeguards provided by the GDPR (standard contractual clauses).

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, object and port your data. For data kept on your iPhone, use the app directly. For data on our server, email ambinina@gmail.com. Since this data is only linked to a random identifier, we may ask for information to find it. You can also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).

Children

Enuntio is not intended for children under 15 without a parent's consent.
